April A. Larson, MD, FAAD

Dr. Larson received her Medical Degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City. After graduating in 2002, Dr. Larson completed a research fellowship at the Huntsman Cancer Institute, working in the Familial Melanoma Research Clinic. Dr. Larson completed her dermatology residency in New Hampshire at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in 2007, where she received outstanding clinical training in general dermatology.

Dr. Larson blends her expertise in dermatology, anti-aging medicine, and weight loss to help patients stay healthy and feel youthful. Outside of work, she enjoys tennis, soccer, and keeping up with her four children’s latest adventures—whether it’s lizard hunting, unicorns, or anything in between.

Matt Colton, PA-C

Matt Colton received his Physician Assistant degree from the University of Nebraska in 2010. He then completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego. In the Navy, Matt practiced in various specialties including Emergency and Sports Medicine and Primary Care. He was also an adjunct Professor of Medicine at the Uniformed School of Health Sciences and currently teaches Physician Assistants in the San Diego area.

After retiring from the Navy in 2020, Matt brought his experience and knowledge to Total T MD. He manages military, law enforcement, and all patients from diverse backgrounds. He strives to provide a safe and comprehensive plan for those struggling to reach their ideal health. When Matt is not in the office he enjoys cooking, training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and spending time with his family.
